CSEAR 9th Emerging Scholars Colloquium, 22 August 2022

Host: CSEARLocation: University of St Andrews

The Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) is pleased to organize the 9th Emerging Scholars Colloquium, a one-day event for emerging scholars working on social and environmental accounting research. This year the colloquium will take place on 22 August 2022, immediately before the 32nd International Congress on Social and Environmental Accounting Research that will be held in University of St Andrews, Scotland (UK) on 23-25 August 2022. The participants of the Emerging Scholars Colloquium are expected to join the CSEAR UK Congress after the colloquium. The aim of the colloquium is to provide an opportunity for emerging scholars in social and environmental accounting (SEA) research to present and discuss their research projects alongside a cohort of distinguished international faculty. The colloquium will maintain a relatively informal atmosphere to enable intensive intellectual debate. In addition to supporting the advancement of research projects, we aspire to introduce emerging scholars into the SEA research community. Simultaneously, endeavour to facilitate a reflection on questions, issues, and topics potentially of interest to emerging scholars. For this purpose, we invite participants to actively engage by raising questions and concerns throughout the event creating a lively and engaged forum for discussion. Registration - please be aware that this is only available to those who have successfully applied to attend (applicants will be notified by Tuesday 31 May). Category 5: Emerging Scholars Colloquium (ESC) – £0/Partial bursary fee for the Congress – £300 (open for registration after 31 May and by invitation only) For students who have been awarded a FULL Bursary for the ESC. This includes accommodation on Sunday 21 August, breakfast and conference registration for the ESC on Monday 22 August.
